I recommend The Ch’an Meditation Group London which was founded to bring Ch’an meditation and Buddhist teaching to London.
Annually the group hold a course of six monthly one-day retreats on the first Saturday of the month, given by qualified meditation instructors from their sister organisation, the WCF. Interspersed with chi gong and walking meditation, the half hour meditation sessions are suited to all levels of practitioner.
Instruction and a Dharma discussion are held in each class with a vegetarian meal at lunchtime. Admission is by donation and participants are encouraged to bring a vegetarian lunch, enough to share.
Venue: The Yoga in Daily Life Centre, Salusbury Road, Queens Park London N16, five minutes from Queens Park tube station (Bakerloo line) and the overland station from Euston.
The Ch’an Meditation Group London has finished the current six month programme in February but will hold a one off one-day retreat on the first Saturday in May.
